Gloria attended the University of San Diego. She has many years of experience working in Social Services with Medi-Cal recipients as well as the Management and Pharmacy industries. She was born and raised in San Bernardino and has lived in Big Bear Lake since 1994.

Gloria was introduced to Bridlewood Insurance by a good friend. She started to work alongside her friend and has loved it ever since. She feels like the reward of her job is when her clients fully understand Medicare and are very happy and pleased with their insurance plans as well

Eddie has his BS in Music Education, and is currently working on his MS in Christian Apologetics. He has been a licensed Life and Health Insurance broker for more than 10 years, specializing in Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans.  Having been with Bridlewood Insurance for the past several years, Eddie has a fantastic agent manager who brought him onboard, Earl Doucette.   He enjoys helping others protect their assets and their health by providing insurance products that fit their specific needs.

Eddie was originally born in Waukegan, IL and currently resides in Beaumont, CA, having moved to California in 1979.  He and his lovely wife, Laura, have been married for more than 40 years, and together they have one son who has given them 3 beautiful grandchildren.  His passions are music production and cycling.

Medicare Agent

Jim enjoys working as a Bridlewood agent specializing in Medicare and other products for the Senior market. A natural “people person”, he enjoys meeting with people in their homes and helping them find a solution that works best for them. Many Seniors who are aging into Medicare, experience this as a time of confusion and one of “information overload”. Jim’s approach to this overload is to demystify Medicare through a short, well prepared presentation of the options available to the Medicare recipient.

Born and raised in Santa Monica / West Los Angeles, Jim started his adult life by entering military service in the US Air Force the day after turning 18, receiving an Honorable Discharge 4 years later. He continued his career as an aircraft technician over the following several years working as a Department of Defense employee. Eventually, he moved overseas living and working in several different nations, finding his life partner some years later in Sweden. When his two sons turned 9 and 12, he and his family moved back to his native California, establishing his new home in the city of Oceanside. He worked his first couple of years in the U.S. as a consultant in the Med-tech Industry, helping U.S. companies get their medical devices on the market in Europe. In 2014, he made a career change to the insurance industry. He is licensed in both California and Minnesota, and focuses the largest part of his insurance services on the senior market with Medicare products. He also works with individual and group health insurance, life insurance, travel insurance and annuities.

He and his family love to travel, and he has been to over 50 countries and 4 continents. He speaks 4 languages, English, Chinese Mandarin, Russian and Swedish, although could only claim being fluent in English and Swedish. In 2007 he graduated from University of British Columbia School of Intercultural Studies.

David received his degree from the University of Redlands.  He also has over 25 years of experience in the insurance business.  His areas of expertise are with Medicare Advantage, Supplement and Medicare-Medicaid plans.

David enjoys working at Bridlewood Insurance because of their amazing agent support and the vast product offerings, and he feels they are really nice people to work with.  He has a passion for educating and working with seniors, and really enjoys the satisfaction he gets when his clients thank him for making the difficult topic of Medicare seem so easy.

Being born and raised in California, David can’t imagine living anywhere else.  He and his wife Susan have been married for over 44 years, and they have four adult children.  Todd (42), Tyler (36) and Trevor (32) all live and work in Utah.  His daughter Tricia is married to Ben.  David and Susan also have 4 grandchildren – Tatum (15), Lincoln (13), Saylor (11) and Nash (8).   In his spare time, David enjoys fishing, golf and travel.

For many years, Deina’s career was with a large wholesale nursery, and her background was in Horticulture and Landscape Design.  She received her degree in Horticulture from Cuyamaca College.  She manage the Target Garden Shops for the wholesale nursery.  In 2009, when Target decided to close their garden departments, she decided to shift gears with a new career in Medicare.  With more than a decade of experience in the Medicare field, Deina can help guide her clients through the cumbersome Medicare process.  Whether you are just turning 65, or retiring from an Employer plan, she can help you every step of the way!

Deina, along with her husband Kent, joined Bridlewood after a friendship with Jeff Wetzel that began many years ago while they all worked at United HealthCare, which turned into a terrific business opportunity.  The choice to join Bridlewood was an easy one, as she would now be able to offer many Medicare options and carriers to her clients, friends and family. Her priority has always been to do what best for the client, and she didn’t feel she could do that when she could only offer them plans from one company. She loves to meet new people, find out what their needs are, and find the best plan that will give them peace of mind and confidence in their Medicare choices.  Putting the client first has always been Deina’s motto. With this in mind, she has managed to keep growing her business through referrals. She publishes a newsletter throughout the year and shares important facts with her clients and prospects.  Once you are Deina’s client, she will strive to continually serve you.  She offers her clients Supplemental plans through many top carriers, Medicare Advantage plans that work within a specific medical network, and Prescription Drug plans that help cover many of their prescription costs, with an emphasis on making sure you the find the best possible plan, at the right price, and keep your current doctor, if you like.

Deina and Kent have been long time residents of East County.  She attended High School in El Cajon (Granite Hills), raised her two sons in El Cajon and now has 4 grandchildren in El Cajon. In 2010 they moved to Ramona, and they love the more rural life. But, don’t let her zip code detour you, becomes Deina comes to you!
They have four adult children and eight grandkids. Papa and Mimi are their favorite names to hear.  She loves the flexibility her job gives her to spend a lot of time with her grandkids. When she’s not babysitting, Deina plays in a women’s tennis league, and enjoys hiking, camping, and their dog “Prince”.  This year, many lifelong dream trips were cancelled due to The Corona Virus, but she hopes they can reschedule those next year!

Jamie loves working with the senior community, and providing education to them about Medicare.  She truly enjoys how grateful her clients are for her caring, knowledgeable approach.  She chose to work at Bridlewood because they have the same core value . . . Do what is right for the clients, EVERY time!  Jamie also appreciates the education and support that Bridlewood gives all it’s agents.

After living in San Diego for 30 years, she and her husband, John, moved to Riverside County in 2019.  Jamie and John have been married for nearly 30 years, and have two grown children, Brandon and Lauren, and a sweet 5-year old granddaughter named Charlotte.  Their family also includes their 15 year old dog Bailey, and their little kitten, Cali.  In her spare time, Jamie enjoys camping, jet skiing, horseback riding, painting, and the list goes on and on.  But her favorite pastime is spending time with her family!

Jim has been a Licensed Life and Health Agent since 2009. He has active licenses in California and Texas. Jim has been a Medicare agent for 4 years. His favorite part of his jobs is helping others.

As an agent, Jim can walk his clients through the different parts of Medicare, and what their options are for coverage. By going through the items that are important to his clients – doctors, specific health concerns, prescription medications, travel or living in different areas of the state or country, etc. – he can help his clients confidently make the choice of the most appropriate plan to meet their needs.

Bridlewood Agent

Amber Ramirez was born and raised in Ramona, which is where her office is located. Amber’s stepfather opened the agency alongside her mother in 1971, and the family owned and run agency has been on the same street corner for 54 years.

In 2004, when Amber first started out as a Farmers agent, she started with zero policies while her mother had about 800. In 2006, her mother fully retired and Amber purchased the agency. Since taking it over, Amber has more than doubled the size of her number of clients, with 800 policies having grown into about 2,500.  Amber attributes a lot of that success and growth to the marketing and networking that she does in the community. Amber has been a Chamber Director for 15 years and she has been part of the Ramona Rotary Club since 2005, along with being the president of Rotary in 2013-2014.  Amber understands the importance of community and knows that Ramonans has never failed to support one another. That is one thing she loves – helping so many people in her own hometown.

Sergio holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. He has worked for over 20 year’s in the Financial Services industry, the last six years have been working exclusively in Medicare insurance. During his tenure, Sergio earned the Gold Club award for production his first year in the insurance industry. Because of his high production numbers, he has been invited to participate in achievement level conferences in Dallas, Las Vegas and Phoenix. He also was promoted to an Agent Manager position in 2017, where he has developed a highly-trained, caring team of Medicare professionals.

Sergio offers all Medicare plans types – Supplements, Advantage plans and Prescription Drug plans – but his specialty are Medi/Medi plans, designed for those individuals in who have both Medicare and Medicaid (Medi-Cal). He began his career with Bridlewood several years ago, and the partnership has solidified his commitment to serving primarily the Medicare market. Bridlewood’s initiative and resources help his client have a great experience. Sergio loves placing clients in the best plan possible, while answering all their questions and getting to learn about their lives.

Being born and raised in sunny Southern California, Sergio has served in both the Navy and Air Force, for a total of nine years. He enjoys the outdoors and loves spending time with family.
