Robert, or Bobby to his friends, graduated from Madison High (San Diego) in 1984.  He has worked in several different trades in construction, as a sub-contractor, and has always been able to stay busy.  He has worked with laying tile, lath and plaster, electrical installation, framing and painting, and ironwork.  He was a superintendent for Lennar Homes for years and when the recession hit in 2008, he was able to switch gears and work on tile installations, flooring and countertops.  Realizing that laying tile is a “young man’s” job, he knew he needed to make a change.  His older brother, Bill, had been selling Medicare for many years, and convinced Robert that he could still help people, but in a different and meaningful way.  He understood how confusing and daunting Medicare could be for people, and really enjoys the satisfaction of helping them understand it and make a well-informed decision that is good for them.  Robert offers everything from Medicare Supplement plans, which give you the flexibility to see almost any doctor you choose and which have a monthly premium, to Medicare Advantage plans that combine the Medicare Parts A (hospital), B (doctors and clinics) and D (prescription drugs) all in one nice, neat package.  He loves to see the smile of relief on seniors faces when he has helped them make this critical decision more easily and confidently.

Robert was born in San Diego – raised in Claremont and now resides in Poway with his wife, Shannon.  They have been together for 22 years and have 3 wonderful children, Teddy, Shasta and Austin.  Their daughter has blessed them with a beautiful granddaughter, Serenity.  With his intense love of fish, Robert has 9 fish tanks and raises African cichlids, peacocks and many other beautiful fresh water fish.  He loves fishing, raising fish, bike rides and camping.  He also enjoys barbecuing and smoking different food.  He recently bought 2 kayaks, and he can’t wait to kayak and fish in the lake and ocean.

Marc is considered a unicorn in the San Diego area. Men like Marc are hard to find because he has lived in San Diego his entire life. With two beautiful children Brady and Reed, he is a busy man. In his youth, Marc vacationed all over the US with his parents. Today he is doing the same with his family. They love it as much as he did as a kid. Marc spends most Saturdays at youth sporting events either coaching or cheering on his boys.

Medicare Agent

John began his insurance career as a life insurance specialist and gradually moved to health, property/casualty, and commercial with a large insurer. In 2017, he made the move to Medicare insurance only.  John holds health licenses in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Tennessee, and Minnesota. With over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, John is extremely well-suited to assist with all of his client’s insurance needs.  He made the decision to join Bridlewood in 2017 with the help of my great childhood friend, who told him about the opportunity even before 2017, but he was not convinced until he attended an agent meeting with his friend. The energy and professionalism displayed at that meeting showed me enough to make the change.  As a new agent, the company provided all the training and marketing ideas to get his business growing. This led him to the best part; it is very gratifying when he sits down with a new clients and takes away the confusion they are experiencing and really educates them on the process and plans that fit their needs. This is not a sales position, it is about taking care of someone’s health insurance and providing a service.  He was excited at the prospect of helping Medicare-eligible seniors understand the complicated subject, educating them on their options, and finding the best coverage for their needs. He loves the opportunity to sit with seniors one-on-one and educate them about all the intricacies of Medicare and help them enroll in the best plan for their situation.

John Tovey is a California native, and a graduate of Madison High School and San Diego State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. John was born at Balboa Hospital, while his father was serving in the US Navy. Since graduating from SDSU, he has held management positions in retail, wholesale and regional distribution.   John, like his father, is a US Navy veteran and has been married to his wonderful wife, Sandy, for 43 years. Together they have two great kids, Brian and Jennifer. Jennifer’s husband is a designer for Adidas, working in Germany, so John and Sandy cherish the times they come home and bring their two grandsons, Parker and Beckett, to visit. They also recently rescued two entertaining and energetic cats, Buddy and Babs. John loves taking a 3-mile walk every morning to start his day off right. Both he and Sandy are members of the Rancho Bernardo Business Association, where John is a board member. They also love to spend time at the beach, cooking and entertaining, and John is excited that he recently brewed his first batch of craft beer![/read_more]

Bill has been providing ‘Choices for Medicare Solutions’ to the Southern California community since 2009, and individuals, families and employer groups since 2006. Bill presently serves the needs of more than 500 clients.

Prior to health insurance, Bill was a Chief Operating Officer, Vice President and Division Manager in real estate finance for more than 30 years. He started, managed and administered business groups for Bank of America, California Federal Savings and Loan, Home Federal Savings and Loan, Crocker National Bank and Wholesale Funding Division of Residential Funding Corp. Bill also dabbled in real estate development where he built homes in Rancho Santa Fe, Poway, and Ramona.

Bill and Vicki, have three children, two of whom are married and three grandchildren.

Beth has been a long-term resident of both Orange and Riverside counties, and currently lives in southwest Inland Empire. She offers her clients a wide range of Medicare Advantage, Supplement and Prescription Drug plans.

Beth’s background is in Financial/Accounting, Contract Administration, Life and Health Insurance, and Retirement Investment Planning.  She has also worked in the Financial, Real Estate, Commercial Products & Services, Aerospace and Banking industries. She joined Bridlewood Insurance in 2021 after receiving a newsletter from an affiliate broker under Bridlewood.  Their “Medicare Made Easy” process that they offer is seamless and easy to follow.  Beth really liked the idea of becoming a “problem solver” to seniors in need, rather than an insurance sales agent.  She was impressed with the high level of integrity and support Bridlewood offers to empower their agent’s success.  She felt it was an easy decision to join their team.  Because she enjoys helping others, Beth always endeavors to work smartly and diligently to provide coverage choices that are the most beneficial for each individual client.

Her favorite extracurricular activity is her role of Volunteer Leadership and Planning for Thrivent Action Teams fundraising events.  These events benefit various non-profit community service organizations in the Inland Empire.  Beth also enjoys off-season travel to experience the different culture, history, art and cuisine of each destination.

Bill McAllister is a Medicare agent based in San Diego, California. He has an Associates Degree in Business and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from San Jose State University. He also attended U.S. Navy Supply Group Officer School. After over 40 years in commercial furniture sales, Bill decided to switch gears and become a licensed Health and Life Insurance agent. He chose to work for Bridlewood Insurance because the company is customer-focused, and provides excellent support for it’s clients and agents.

Bill loves his new career, particularly the chance to assist his customers to make the best choice of their Medicare options. He strives to be an asset and resource that his customers can depend on.

Bill’s father was a 30 year career Air Force pilot, so they moved frequently, residing in Texas, New Mexico, Ohio and California while he was growing up. He also joined the U.S. Navy and was a Supply Corps Officer on a destroyer stationed in San Diego for 5 years. Bill and his wife, Angie, have been married for 42 years, and have 2 wonderful kids – Patrick and Michelle. They also have a granddaughter named Olivia, that they love to spoil. Bill’s interests are golfing, snorkeling, gardening, traveling and participating in his church group.

Jim began his insurance career in early 1978, shortly after graduating with a BA in Recreation Administration from SDSU.  Jim also has a Masters of Religious Studies from So. CA Bible College & Seminary.  He has his life, health and disability insurance licenses, and holds a CLU and ChFC designations.  Jim was introduced to Bridlewood Insurance in 2015, through mutual friend and colleague, Kent Hildebrand.

Jim’s business philosophy is, “as your insurance and benefits consultant, YOU become my top priority”.  He has built his success on the three C’s – Client service, Competence and Clarity.  Jim offers his clients Medicare supplement plans, advantage plans and prescription drug coverage.

Jim moved to San Diego in 1965.  Jim and his wife have five adult children and 5 grandchildren that they love spending time with.  Jim is a long time surfer and enjoys San Diego’s surf spots and getting outdoors in his hometown of Coronado.

Kevin Leinum is the owner of Capstone Insurance Services and has partnered with Bridlewood Insurance Services in 2018. Kevin has extensive training and received his CA insurance license in 2008. His hard work and dedication to his craft have made him a top producer in his field. Kevin’s success has come from his attention to detail with each client he works with. He believes not one plan is right for everyone and takes the time to find out each client’s needs and guide them to the best plan for them. Kevin heard about Bridlewood from a friend of his, and in 2017 decided to begin to offer Medicare plans to his clients.

Kevin lives and has his office in La Mesa. He has been married to Breanne since 2004 and has 3 sons – Crosby (10), Micah (7), and Jasper (5). Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and going to the gym.

Jose has a Bachelor’s degree from SDSU in Mexican-American Studies and he has been Life and Health insurance licensed since 2014.  He is passionate about working with the Spanish speaking community on navigating through the complicated Medicare maze.

Jose grew up and currently lives in Oceanside, CA.  He is widowed with two young children; a 10-year old daughter and 4-year old son.
