Carolyn was born and raised in California and has been residing in Carson, California for over 20 years. After being introduced to Bridlewood, she was excited to join our team. She wanted to give Medicare clients the best experience possible and would like to cater to any specific needs that they have. Carolyn wants her clients to feel appreciated and she wants them to understand their Medicare needs in a simple way. She loves helping people get the answers they need to feel comfortable navigating their plans. She is proud to be her client’s first point of contact.

Carolyn has over 35 years of customer service experience as well as 10 years in the Insurance Industry. Throughout those 10 years, she has managed two agencies in Inglewood and Gardena, California. She is also a current member of the South Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce as well as the Carson Chamber of Commerce.

Carolyn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University at Dominguez Hills. She has experience in Medical Billing and Coding and received that education from United Education Institute.

Carolyn loves to spend time with her young daughter, Tyler, as well as her two dogs. Her favorite pastime is traveling and she tries to leave the country at least once a year. When she isn’t traveling, she is spending time with family and at church as well as volunteering in her community.

J.S.M. & John Burkett Petition Management:
State of California Legislation Initiatives – Asst Manager -02/2004 to 06/2005
In general, my initial assignment included aiding in a seasonal project, by registering qualified voters in our efforts to gain the support from various State of California on the ballot initiatives with successful measures. The additional task included demonstrating proficient leadership skills, by effectively communicating with upper management while aiding in the process of hiring, training, and promoting team concepts, in the interim of managing a support team of twenty employees.

Cherry Hill Photo:Portrait Studio Manager 2003 to 01/2004
A seasonal position that required having the responsibilities of hiring, training, and managing a staff of twelve; full and part-time employees. As a result, our system included establishing and managing an efficient and profitable photo studio with an effective line of communication between upper management and the general staff, while successfully monitoring all aspects of the Christmas portrait studio daily activity for the Santa Anita, California Mall. As a result, as a team, we were able to establish and meet our studio production goals and objectives with an extended measure of success.

Responsibilities included facilitating the organizations inside sales shareholders’ division, with effective telecommunication and presentation skills, while aiding qualified accredited investors who participated in several progressively rated investment opportunities. In the interim, I maintained a performance-based platform that contributed to the organization’s positive increase on a consistent basis. – While earning numerous production awards.

Responsibilities included assisting the Chief Executive Officer and staff of family-owned- greeting card business in the company’s day to day operations. My additional task included helping in areas of product development, sales and marketing, shipping, and receiving. In the interim, I established several local and national greeting card accounts, while representing the company at the annual gift and greeting card industry events. – Met and exceeded the assigned task with successful measures

For nearly a decade, as an independent broker, Edward Allen has specialized in identifying and providing sustainable solutions for Medicare-eligible members regarding their Medicare Part C supplement insurance, and Prescription Drug benefit needs. As a result, he uses an efficient consultation along with an effective educational approach while helping seniors gain a better understanding of their Medicare Advantage, Supplementary Benefits, and Prescription Drug Plan options, and how they work in correlation with the Original Medicare Part A & B health plan.

Bridlewood’s model evokes a top-notch business-model, on how a Medicare servicing agency should put forth their very best efforts. I am fairly new but decided to work for Bridlewood (aka) Bridgelink, because Bridelwoods model, is built on a higher level of professionalism, which correlates with exceptional training, and support platform. More so, Bridlewood’s leadership and principals stand firm on the foundation of uncompromising values when their agents answer the call, to help, guide, and support Medicare-eligible members.

Edward enjoys educating his clients on how their original Medicare Part A&B benefits, work with their Medicare Part C Supplement, and or Part D prescription drug benefits and how those benefits work to their advantage. In the interim, he takes great joy in supporting his clients as their benefits advocate when it is required. Most important, Edward appreciates the opportunity to offer an exceptional service that allows his clients to make a well-informed decision and he thrives to build genuine relationships that are designed to make a difference in the lives of those he is honored to serve.

Originally from the Mid-West, born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he is the second oldest of six siblings. After graduation from high school, from 1977-1984 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and honorably served with the 1st Marine Air Wing Division, in Tustin and El Toro, California, Okinawa Japan, and on the aircraft carrier, – the USS Peleliu during the Beirut Lebanon conflict. Currently, Edward resides in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Rhonda of 15 years and their blended family members; that include six young men, four young women, and 12 grandchildren.

Edward enjoys viewing classic (Black and White) films and engaging in a challenging game of chess. When time allows, he and his wife and or their loved one(s) take pleasure in walks on the beach, visiting art galleries, museums, attending musical and stage productions, sporting events, and traveling. One of his favorite past times; was the moment he surprised his wife with a weekend getaway to San Diego, which included attending a football game when the San Diego Chargers played his favorite team the Green Bay Packers with seats behind the end-zone.

John was born in Los Angeles, CA and resides in Redondo Beach, CA.  John was in the military for 4 years stationed in Hawaii and made three west pacs.  (Served with the marines stationed on board three separate ships traveling to several counties to provide medical care.)

John’s been married for over 25 years, has 3 adults, one is a teacher, one is a search and rescue extraordinaire, the one is a Marriage and Family Counselor. He has several grandkids a dog and a couple of fish. John and his wife Debbie exercise regularly together either in their home gym, biking or one of the trails in Los Angeles.

John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from U.O.P. John received his Health and Life insurance license in 2015.  He worked at Mutual of Omaha for several years achieving several awards for his outstanding accomplishments.  He has written over 400 life products through several carriers over the years.

John’s forte is establishing rapport with his clients. He has excelled at helping others most of his life from being a Navy Corpsman (similar to a paramedic) while stationed with the Marines, to his Emergency Medical Technician experience, real estate seminar experience, to presently serving clients with insurance and their Medicare needs. These types of positions require a level of tenacity and dedication in order to assist others effectively.

John is an experienced life and health insurance agent looking to provide his clients with the best possible product by researching what is available to meet their needs. He simplifies the options and presents his clients with policy information in a fashion that is easily understood while making their decision to move forward far less difficult.

Lisa is a California Native, growing up in Central California until her family moved to Placerville, CA and she is proud to say she has lived in El Dorado County for the past 45 years. She has 3 adult sons and 11 grandchildren. She also has two cats, Tigger and Houdini.

She received her A.A Human Services, B.A. Social Science, M.A Career Counseling, Life and Health agent License.  Lisa has been a Life agent license since 2007 and has experience selling IFP as well as Medicare insurance products with many different carriers and in 44 different states. Currently she is working in California only.

Lisa decided to work from home and for herself and felt Bridlewood would be a good fit for her. She started with Bridlewood as of May, 2022.

Her philosophy is to always do the right thing for each client to ensure they receive the plan that fits their individual needs.

In her free time she enjoys tie dying, people watching, going to the ocean, listening to music, going to thrift stores, trying out new artistic endeavors such as glass blowing, painting, and pottery.

From Oregon, Kyla graduated from Insurance school over 15 years ago and believes that it was the best thing she could have ever done.

Working in the Insurance field for over 15 years in Oregon and Washington, Kyla enjoys educating people on how Medicare works including how to apply and what Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans are, and how they work.

Kyla enjoys helping her clients with all aspects of turning 65 as she has trusted resources to share with clients.  She helps her clients understand what a Hospital Indemnity plan can do to help protect them from the high costs of Medicare as well as helping clients understand how Medicare works, educating them on Medicare and all the puzzle pieces.

Kyla and her husband Don have been together 11 years and married almost 8. In her free time, she liked to go golfing, stain glass, play cards, and color. Going back to the basics, being creative and childlike truly make her happy.

Jeff was born and raised in St. Helens and graduated from St. Helens High School and currently lives in Warren, Oregon. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University in 1999. He has 21 years of experience in providing Investment, Insurance, and Retirement advice to his community. He has been a Certified Financial Planner since 2004 and also got his Life and Health Insurance that same year.  

In 2021, Jeff was introduced to Bridlewood Insurance. He really admired the business process because of putting clients first and focusing on giving them all the assistance they need with their Medicare. Jeff loves helping clients in all aspects of retirement. Other than assisting seniors with their Financial Services, being able to assist with their Medicare is just another great addition to Schultz Financial Services. 

Jeff has been married to his wife Leanna for 13 years and they have a 10-year-old daughter named Olivia. He likes to spend time with his family and pets when he has free time. Living on 5 acres, he likes to upkeep the gardening and woodworking of his home. When not attending to the home improvement, he really enjoys the outdoors and that involves hiking, fishing, kayaking, and going to the beach. 

Michael has his Bachelor of Science degree from Lutheran University.  He focuses solely on Medicare and educating seniors about Medicare.

Elizabeth attended the University of the East – Manila, Philippines, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in Management.  She also studied business and finance at Napa Valley College.  She has been an insurance agent for New York Life Insurance since 2011.  Elizabeth has been a Consistent Council Agent for the past 7 years, and was awarded the Centurion Leader for consistently writing 80-120 policies per year.  She has also held positions at Comcast as a Direct Sales Rep, at Remax Gold as a realtor, at SBC Yellow Pages as an outside sales rep, as well as being a distributor for Neolife International, where she reached the coveted World Team Director level multiple times.

Recently, Elizabeth decided to expand her portfolio of products to include Medicare . . . Supplement plans, Prescription Drug plans and Advantage plans.  She joined Bridlewood and enjoys the good working business relationship she has with them.  She thoroughly enjoys what she does – making a positive impact in people’s lives in any way she can.  It is her mission to help people in the areas of Health and Wealth.

Elizabeth has lived in the Elk Grove/Sacremento are for more than 15 years, and before that she resided in the Bay area.  She and her husband, David, have been married for 42 years, and they have 3 grown children, and 9 grandchildren.  They love to travel, both in the US and abroad, and actively serve in their Church and community.  Also, Elizabeth loves to cook for her family, especially her grandkids.
