Mark graduated from St. Cloud State University, with a major in business management, and a minor in marketing.  He spent 30 years as a Marketing Rep for Federated Insurance.  During his tenure he focused on helping businesses with their commercial and group health insurance.  He recently shifted that focus to Medicare specific insurance.  He specializes in helping people who are new to Medicare, although he loves working with seniors of all ages.  Mark brings value to his relationships with his clients, as he not only helps them find the most appropriate plan for their needs, but he also can help them get enrolled in Medicare, so they do not have to make a trip to the Social Security office and wait in line.  He decided to join Bridlewood Insurance once he saw how much support they provide to their agents, and make the Medicare experience enjoyable.  Mark’s goal is  to match you with a Medicare plan that you like and that fits your personal medical situation.

Mark was born and raised in Owatonna, Minnesota, and for the last 22 years he has lived in Elk River, MN.  His wife, Jodi, and he are high school sweethearts who met in the 80’s, and have been married for 33 years!  They have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren . . . for now.  He and Jodi enjoy lake life at their cabin, as well as golf, and of course spending time with their beautiful grandkids.

Born in Cedar Rapids, IA, the second-largest city in Iowa, I moved to Omaha when I was six. I grew up in a fairly large family of four boys and two sisters. Educated in Catholic schools: St. Pius Elementary and Roncalli High school. After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning a Bachelor’s degree in science.

While studying for my bachelor’s degree at UNO, I worked for a credit card processing company by the name of First Data Resources for twenty years. I learned how to budget my time wisely in regard to pursuing my degree and paying for my education. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I was promoted at First Data to a programmer and finally earned the position of Application Architect. After leaving First Data, I worked as a stockbroker for TD Ameritrade for eleven years. I really enjoyed the customer contact and solving client problems, and educating my clients on the world of researching and trading stocks. After years of working as a stockbroker, I wanted to help people and own my own business. As a result, I ended up here at Bridlewood.

In preparation for having my own agency, I worked for a small company, Senior Market Sales. I helped people who were turning 65 determine if it made economic sense for them to stay on their current companies’ current group health insurance or move over entirely to Medicare. Further, helping my clients determine if it made sense for them to add additional supplemental insurance or move over to the Medicare Advantage plan.
Recently my father passed away, and as a result, I now enjoy taking care of my mother, who is 82 years old, and her two dogs, George and Gisele, both Schnauzer and Poodle mix. I have over twelve nieces and nephews and have now started attending their children’s weddings.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time listening to audiobooks, hiking, fishing, movies, dining out, and watching the Husker football games.

Casey is A Medicare agent in Nebraska. He wanted to work for a company that cares for its customers as well as explains their Medicare needs in the best way. After finding Bridlewood and finally joining in 2019, he knew it was a great fit. He believes that every client deserves to be treated as a person. He knows that every client has completely different needs but every single one of those needs is important to him.

Casey received his degree in Christian Education Leadership. He is originally from Wamego, Kansas, and has lived in the Midwest throughout his life. Currently, he is residing in Fremont, Nebraska. He and his wife, Tara, have a passion for their community and really enjoy living there.

In his free time, Casey enjoys running, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, collecting vinyl records, and seeing new movies. He also likes to listen to music and Garth Brooks is his favorite artist.

Megan has a broad array of experience working in the insurance industry. She has helped businesses with health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Megan works with people who are new to Medicare and need help understanding different options and people currently on Medicare looking for better benefits. Megan loves working in insurance and helping people with these complex issues as well as having the ownership of her own business, the success and or failure is all on her.

Megan was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. She has ventured to other places but keeps coming back. Megan loves the feel of a big-small town and everything you need/want but still isn’t too big.

Megan went to Southeast Community College for Business Administration. She has been married to her husband Matt for 8 years and together they have 3 children. Harper – 10, Kade – 3 and Leo – 1.

Megan is really in health and wellness. She stays very active trying to work out daily and eat healthy. Megan is always continuing to learn and research health; she frequently listens to a health or wellness podcast. Her family loves summer and enjoys using their boat at the lake.

Megan truly loves helping people! A client once told her how her new plan was life changing and how much it was going to help her. Megan prides herself on doing the right thing for her clients even if it means not getting the sale.

Kim absolutely loves her Medicare clients and considers them friends. She is one of the top UHC and Humana Medicare Agents in South Dakota and makes Medicare easy to understand for her members.  Kim has her Paralegal Associates Degree. She has also owned her own insurance agency, American Family Ins Agency, and has been a licensed insurance agent for over 20 years. Prior to insurance, she was a Mortgage Loan Officer and a Title Insurance Agent.

Kim and her husband, Roger, started with Bridlewood Insurance in 2019. They chose to work with Bridlewood based on the way that the owners, Jeff and Kim Wetzel, aligned with their goals, both personally and professionally. They were very impressed with Bridlewood’s support and their progressive training, advertising, and marketing ideas.  Kim says she loves educating the Senior population and truly helping them navigate the very complicated Medicare and Medicare Supplement process. She likes being the person they know they can call, get a return phone call, and have their questions answered. Knowing that most Seniors
live on a fixed budget, she enjoys being able to offerproducts that can save them money, provide additional areas of coverage, and allow for more disposable income on a monthly basis.

Kim was born and raised in Southeast Nebraska in a town of 79 people. Her entire family still lives there, while she lives in Madison, South Dakota (just north of Sioux Falls approximately 45 miles) on Lake Madison. Kim has lived in South Dakota for over 25 years, with her husband Roger, who is also a Medicare Agent. Yes, they do work together and spend 24/7 with each other. Believe it or not they have worked together since 2010, and were married 2 years later. Kim has 1 son, Dylan, who lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife, Brooklynn. Kim enjoys scrapbooking, gardening, yoga, zumba, her “Active & Ageless” exercise classes, walking, boating, jet skiing, entertaining friends & family at the lake, 4-wheeler riding in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and also riding bikes on the trails in South Dakota.

Roger has a way of explaining the Medicare process making it easy to understand. Roger and his wife Kim, who is also an agent, have an insurance agency in Madison, South Dakota and are licensed to offer Medicare related products in 26 states. Roger has several degrees, including an Associate’s degree in Agriculture from Mankato Vo-Tech, a Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Real Estate from Minnesota State University. Roger & Kim have owned Amerigroup Financial, LLC, which is an independent insurance marketing company contracted to sell a wide variety of insurance products, for well over a decade, but specialize in products for Medicare Beneficiaries, including Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement plans. Roger came to work at Bridlewood Insurance through a rather unusual way. He grew up in the same small town in Minnesota, as Bridlewood’s President and CEO, Jeffry Wetzel.  Jeff shared with him how the Medicare business works and how it has treated him well, and Roger decided to add those Medicare products to the portfolio of offerings for his clients. He really loves potentially saving hundreds of dollars a month for people that are on a very low, fixed income, and really need
his help.

Born and raised on a farm in Waterville, Minnesota, Roger moved to Phoenix, AZ after college, owned a mortgage company and a real estate agency and then moved to Madison, South Dakota in 2012. Kim and Roger were married in 2012, and Kim’s son Dylan, lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Brooklynn. The only professional sports Roger enjoys watching are UFC and Nascar. His favorite hobbies are traveling to Mexico, flying, trail riding with their UTV, entertaining friends at their lake home, boating, riding jet skis and anything to do with cars. He loves speed!!

Maribel has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages.  She speaks English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and French. Additionally, she has a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Currently, she possesses her Health Agent Florida license as well as her Florida Life License, including Variable Annuities. Since August of 2019 until June of 2022, she worked as a captive bilingual insurance broker in a call center and remotely selling Medicare Advantage, stand alone Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Supplement plans. During the years she worked at this insurance firm, she achieved a 92% or above customer retention rate due to her dedication in providing exceptional customer service experiences. Maribel strives to make sure her customers enroll in a plan that fits their needs and assists them with any issues that may arise or answer any questions they may have. She is just phone call away. In 2022, she sold 128 plans during the Annual Enrollment Period and received an award for compassionate service.  Maribel’s specialty is Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, and Medicare Supplement plans, Medicaid, Low Income Subsidy, Medicare Savings Program, Social Security, Long Term Care, Home Health Aide, and State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs.

On June 17, 2022, she resigned as a captive agent to work as an independant insurance broker. After extensive research and interviews, Maribel decided to join Bridlewood Insurance Services because of the perks and resources they offer. Their support and training allows her to prospect, market and execute her plans for success.  Her favorite part of the job is to meet with people who need help finding a plan that better fits their needs, and provide the education required to understand how Medicare works, what resources are available in their community to be able to live a better quality of life and enhance their health and well-being.

Maribel was born in Hoboken, NJ and raised in Manhattan, NY.  Her parents are from Puerto Rico, therefore, she had an opportunity to live and study in San Juan, PR. Currently, she resides in Brandon, FL.  The love of her life is her one and only daughter, Carla Aponte. She moved to New York to pursue her passion for Art. She also has a female cat named Kahlua who she truly enjoys. The minute we saw the color of her fur we instantly chose her name. She is a bundle of joy, loves to snuggle and being petted.   Maribel’s favorite pastimes are cycling, traveling and cooking. She also loves serving others in her church and community.

My roots are strong and deeply planted on the open plains of North Dakota. I grew up in a small rural community on a multigenerational farm, where we raised various crops, beef cattle and horses. The farm taught me the value of hard work, integrity and working together. At age 16, I began my mission to serve people, in the local café as a cook. I loved seeing the locals and meeting new visitors as they traveled through the area.

My first career was Cosmetology, before jumping with both feet into health care. Completing 144 credits in two years I earned my Respiratory Care Practitioner degree, specializing in critical care, taking care of the COPD patients and all patients from 24-week gestation preemie to the special geriatric people that frequented our hospital, and became friends of mine.

I am proud to say I have over 30 years of experience in health care. I am board certified in Sleep Medicine, and LOVE providing care. I understand the importance of health care and being insured with appropriate medical coverage, consistent with your needs. Medicare does NOT need to be complicated…Let me “COACH” you.

During all my studies, I still had time to meet the man of my dreams, we have surpassed our 35-year anniversary and have grown a family of two lovely boys, who are now stepping up to the family plate, along with their beautiful wives and have given me the best title of all, “Gigi”.
I love to travel, especially to warm places, with North Dakota roots, my tree seems to be a palm tree.

Jordan is from Oklahoma, born and raised. He studied at the University of Oklahoma for Bio-PreMedicine and Business Administration and has his Insurance License for Life, Health, Accident & Sickness.

He decided to work with this prestigious company, Bridlewood Insurance, in early June 2022. This group of individuals has shown him dedication, and bright morals in always putting the medicare members first. He values this above all others and continues to look up to the leaders in this group.
