I make Medicare easy!

Anna, a Roanoke College (1991-1995) graduate with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, has spent the past 5 years as a licensed Medicare Sales Representative with UnitedHealthcare. Prior to that she worked in the hotel industry for 15+ years for companies like Marriott, Starwood, and Choice Hotels. She also worked in various sales and marketing management roles and received exceptional training in service and hospitality.  Anna feels that everyone’s Medicare needs are different, so she always conducts a thorough needs assessment before suggesting any type of Medicare product. She has extensive experience in helping people enroll in Medicare Supplement plans as well as Medicare Advantage plans, and enjoys helping Medicare dual eligibles (Medi-Medi’s) and folks that can benefit from Chronic Special Needs plans.  She is currently licensed in 8 states including Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, New Jersey, Nevada, Texas and Wisconsin, and she’s happy to get licensed wherever her clients move so she can continue to serve them.

She left her work as a captive agent with UnitedHealthcare and started her work for Bridlewood Insurance in August 2023. Over the 5+ years Anna was with UnitedHealthcare, she received excellent training and excelled to become a top producing agent with a large book of business.  She decided to make the switch from captive agent to Medicare Broker because she felt it is in the best interest of her clients to offer a wider range of products from multiple carriers. Bridlewood Insurance has a proven track record and excellent reputation, so it was a natural fit for her and she is so excited to be part of their team! Anna feels that what sets her apart from other agents is her experience in the hospitality industry, providing excellent service to her clients with a smile and always going the extra mile to solve whatever issue they are facing. It is truly a pleasure serving older adults and an honor she will never take for granted.

Growing up in Connecticut, Anna has lived all over the country as an adult, including Virginia, Colorado and California.  This has given her the opportunity to enjoy working with all types of folks!  She is a proud single mom of two sons ages 13 and 12 years old. One day she hopes they’ll join her Medicare business!  Anna’s younger son, Johnny, already helps her with her monthly newsletter and other marketing projects.  Her volunteer activities include educating the community about their Medicare options.  She has been a guest speaker for various financial firms in San Diego (helping their turning 65 folks and retirees understand the complexities of Medicare). She has also worked with and been a guest speaker several times for the Alzheimer’s Association of San Diego/Imperial chapter.
Anna’s activities also include working with the San Marcos Senior Activity Center, San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and several local YMCA’s. When she is not working, Anna enjoy spending time with family, cooking, nature walks, and learning about holistic ways to heal the body.
