Wrede was born in San Diego and raised in Orange County. He sold his practice in Orange County and moved to Maui, where he lived for 4 years. He is now a resident of Temecula.  Wrede has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Chapman University (1982), and attended the College for Financial Planning via University of Southern California and earned his CFP designation in 1987. His career includes 10 years experience in the custom and modular home and commercial building industry, and spent an additional 10 years as a commercial and residential renewable energy broker.
Wrede also has an extensive background in the financial and insurance services industries – 11 years in the insurance industry, was Series 7 licensed broker from 1984-2005, a Series 24 broker manager from 1986-2005, tax practitioner from 1983-2005, a Defined Contribution Plan Specialist 1987-2005, CA licensed real estate and licensed home improvement salesperson and a licensed Life Insurance Agent from 1985-2005, and from 2018-current.
Wrede was referred to Bridlewood Insurance by a long-time friend and colleague, Sergio Gomez. Some of his specialties are Medicare Advantage plans, Supplement plans and Prescription Drug plans. Wrede finds it very satisfying to help retired people find the proper health coverage and then build a relationship that will continue every year for the rest of their lives.
Wrede is married to his wife, Diedra, and they have been together for 33 years. They have 3 sons: Dalton 25, Chase 21, Brock 19, a beloved wire fox terrier, Ellie May, 2 cockatiels, Hana & Hula, and a large fish, Pcosti. In his free time he likes to go surfing and fishing, and he and Diedra love traveling, gardening, and wine tasting.
