With an Associates degree in accounting, Tamara spent the bulk of her career in Corporate America and retail, primarily in Big Box stores, Technology and grocery stores, and finally exiting as a VP of Client Services, before she embarked on her Medicare career with passion and gusto. During her career in retail she learned a lot . . especially about people.
After her initial years of being a captive agent with UnitedHealthcare, she decided to branch out and offer a wider range of products, to ensure that she was able to provide all the proper options for her clients, so they could have access to the care they required. Â Tamara’s favorite part of her job is helping folks and she strives to provide not only world class healthcare but to also provide financial protection from catastrophic damage in the wake of unforeseen medical needs.
Tamara was born and raised in the Bluegrass state of Kentucky. She has lived in many places, including New Orleans, Las Vegas, California, Winnfield, Louisiana, Cincinnati, the Dominican Republic and then back to California, where she currently resides in South Orange County. Tamara has 3 amazing sons. Her 2 oldest are in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky and her youngest is in Orange County, California. She is also the proud owner of 3 Schipperkes – Tony, Tina and Georgie!
Tamara loves, loves, loves the outdoors. From fishing, to the beach, being in the sun, attending concerts and an occasional jaunt to anyplace fun…but she makes anything fun! Meeting new people and experiencing new cultures are some of her favorite things! Tamara also loves to read, and she loves to travel!
Tamara prides herself in her ability to assist her clients in getting their needs taken care of. She believes in providing world class care and following that through with her very own world class customer service!
