Peggy works with all the major carriers, and offers Prescription Drug plans and Special Needs Advantage plans, as well as Supplemental and regular Advantage plans. She is passionate about educating her clients on their Medicare options, and giving them all the necessary information to make a well-informed decision for their health care insurance. After spending some time working with only one carrier, she realized that she couldn’t really do the right thing for every client, without being able to offer them products from all insurance companies with plans in the area. She loves working with seniors, and realized early on that Medicare is NOT a “one size fits all” thing. Peggy keeps her clients up to date with any changes to their Medicare plans, and stays in touch with them through her monthly newsletter. She chose to work with Bridlewood because they have a client first approach, and they are really supportive of their agents with ongoing training, marketing and a great culture of honesty and integrity.

She has lived in southwest Iowa all her life, and has moved around that area several times since her childhood. Peggy has resided in Exira, Iowa (population 840!) for the past 12 years with her fiancé, Rick Thompson, who is also an agent. She and Rick have 5 children and 7 granchildren together, and look forward to more grandchildren. Their grandkids are very active in sports, so you can find them spending many evenings and weekends attending their events. Spending time with their parents, siblings, kids and grandchildren is a top priority. Peggy and Rick both love to travel, and are looking forward to doing a lot of traveling in the coming years.
