Spanish Speaker

Mercedes earned her Associates Degree from Front Range Community College, her BA Degree from University of Colorado Boulder, and her Business Certificate from University of Colorado Applied.

Most of her professional work has been with the Spanish Speaking Community.  In 2010 through 2013 she worked for Boulder County in Early Childhood Education. She was a Community Navigator for Denver Health from 2013 until 2017, and a Bilingual Community Navigator for Work Life Partnership from 2017 to 2019.

Mercedes started with Bridlewood Insurance in September of 2019. Bridlewood was her first choice in Medicare insurance companies for the support, the sense of community, and most importantly the opportunity to build relationships with teammates and clients. She gets paid to help the members of her community get the benefits they so badly need. She knows not many people can truly say “I love my job” but she does!

Born in Mexico City, Colorado is her second home. She has been there 30 + years. She always says, Colorado is a place to fall in love, even if is falling in love with yourself! Mercedes has two grown daughters and two grandchildren for whom she crazy for. They give her so much love, life, and lessons.

Mercedes loves summer concerts in the park, hiking the Colorado mountains, reading, salsa dancing, visiting coffee shops, and antique stores. Colorado has the best antique stores; they are full of treasures.
