Medicare step by step

Janet received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.  She has held various jobs including Private Banker with Chase bank, a mobile Notary Public, and most recently as an Insurance Broker.  Her areas of specialty are Medicare/Medicaid, Medicare Supplement plans, Advantage plans and Prescription Drug plans.  During her time working for Chase Bank, she was able to acquire her Life Insurance license.  Her friend, Maria Sherwood (who is also an excellent agent for Bridlewood), had already joined Bridlewood the previous year and told Janet what a great team of agents they had, so she decided to join Bridlewood also. She was a stay at home mom back then, and thought it was the perfect fit for her to work with her schedule. Janet likes helping people by educating them on important and essential subjects, and Medicare offered her plenty of opportunity to do just that.  In 2019 she moved to Maui, which gave her an opportunity to help more people in different states. She currently helps clients in California, Hawaii, Oregon and Arizona. Knowing how confusing Medicare can be and how many options people have, she really enjoys researching all the plans available to them, and then guiding them to the plan which will be the best suited for them. It is definitely not a one size fits all.

Originally from San Diego, specifically from the suburb of Chula Vista, she lived most of the first 15 years of her life in Tijuana, Mexico. Living by the border gave her a different perspective, and she believes she is able to adapt very quick to change due to this experience. I consider my self not only Bilingual, but Bicultural.  She now lives in Maui, Hawaii due to her husband German’s job, but she still services San Diego clients as well. Janet and German have been together for almost 18 years, and they have a beautiful, intelligent daughter who is 7 years old. They also have a fur daughter a.k.a. a dog, who’s name is Lola, whom they adopted when she was 6.  Some of her favorite pastimes are listening to podcast and audiobooks, because she loves learning something new. Janet also likes skating and walking, especially on nature trails.  Since moving to Maui, she now enjoys going to the beach and seeing the sunset with her family, and really taking in the little things in life.
