After being a captive agent for UnitedHealthcare for 5 years, Alandra wanted to better serve her clients by being able to offer other insurance carriers that fit their needs. Bridlewood Insurance was a great fit for her, as the Colorado Regional Director, Sharie Rutherford, has been a close friend and colleague since she started as an insurance agent. Bridlewood has a proven track-record of success, and a team atmosphere that fits her personality. Her favorite part of the job is helping her clients understand Medicare and their options. She likes to joke that “I’m my client’s Medicare coach” (she was a girl’s lacrosse coach for 14 years). She really enjoys meeting and learning about who her clients are and what their needs are. Alandra’s clients know they can always reach out with questions about their plans, and that she is a valuable resource for their Medicare needs.

Alandra is from Colorado Springs, CO and is a military brat. When her parents divorced, her dad moved to Highlands Ranch, CO and her mom remarried an Air Force gentleman. They lived in the Detroit area in the early 1990s, then moved back to Colorado and lived at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Next they were stationed in Plano, Texas where she finished middle and high school and later went on to attend the University of North Texas. Alandra worked through high school and college as a lifeguard and a lacrosse coach. After college she was finally able to come back to her home state in 2011. Her husband, Brian, and she met over 10 years ago working at the Westin Hotel in Frisco, TX. They married in February 2015 on top of Copper Mountain, wearing their skis. Alandra and her dad got into white water rafting in 1996 and have loved every minute of it. Thankfully, Brian was able to pick up rafting and loves it as well. You can find them in the mountains skiing, rafting, camping or near some body of water enjoying swimming or the sun. They also enjoy craft breweries and spending time with their family and friends.
